Jon Clark

Performance Coach

My name is Jonathan Clark, and I've always been interested in general health and fitness. However, it wasn't until I discovered strength training that the interest grew into a love.
My strength training journey started after I personal trainer (much like me now) approached and guided me. Prior to meeting my coach, I had tried "figure it out" on my own. With his guidance I made significant progress!

It wasn't long after that I began studying for my first of several personal training certifications. I was fortunate enough to have a background in anatomy and physiology after a stint as a producer on a program about sports medicine and more than a casual interest in sports performance.

2020 will be the 7th year I've been training clients and while I have seen many trends come and go in the fitness industry one constant seems to be that people enjoy being strong and healthy. Strength Training and general health being my primary goals means that this is often diffused into my clients' diverse fitness aspirations. I've trained competitive powerlifters and I've trained people who just need to be able to sit down and stand up more easily - and I wouldn't have it any other way. Velo Athletics is the perfect fit because we hold each other to a high standard while giving our clients a fun and engaging community to train with.

Chelsie Marie

Performance Coach

My name is Chelsie Yeaton. I became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer in 2019.

I found my passion for fitness throughout middle school and high school athletics. I was inspired to become a personal trainer after the passing of my mom. Health and wellness may not have prevented her cancer, but it could have given her a fighting chance. My mission: to empower others to have a fighting chance.

I believe that exercise, nutrition and wellness are the best strategies to achieve and maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. I strive to provide clients with a positive experience that inspires reassurance in their personal ability to fulfill their health goals.
